Eco Crédito Sustentable is an initiative included in Mexico's Sustainable Financing Mobilization Strategy. The program aims to provide financial support to companies in sectors such as industry, commerce, and services. It will mobilize financing for more than a thousand projects, under preferential conditions for participating companies. In a joint effort with commercial banks, 1,500 million pesos of private investment will be mobilized for these purposes. It is estimated that these initiatives financed under this scheme can reduce up to 100,000 tons of equivalent carbon dioxide (CO2e), significantly contributing to the mitigation of climate change. The main objective is to provide companies with the tools and financial resources necessary to carry out energy diagnoses, identify significant savings opportunities, and ultimately invest in energy efficiency measures.
