The Korea Export-Import Bank (KEXIM) announced on January 30, 2024, that it will provide a total of KRW 3.33 trillion in financial and non-financial services to SMEs this year as part of its mutual finance program. The main contents of the mutual finance program announced by KEXIM are to expand the existing mutual financial services by KRW 300 billion (from KRW 2.7 trillion to KRW 3 trillion), provide KRW 30 billion in interest reduction for SMEs, and provide KRW 3 billion in advanced consulting for global ESG regulation response for SMEs and medium-sized companies. This is introduced and announced as a specialized program of KEXIM to participate in the 'Livelihood Financial Support Plan' being implemented by the banking sector recently.
