The Japan Trade Insurance Corporation (NEXI) has decided to take on general trade insurance for a project to export 12 new high-speed rail vehicles to Taiwan. This project is part of a larger initiative to support the export of the Shinkansen system to Taiwan. The project is expected to contribute to the mobility and transportation sector's overseas deployment strategy, which the Japanese government has set out in its 'Infrastructure System Overseas Deployment Strategy 2025'. NEXI, as a Japanese policy finance institution, will continue to actively support exports by Japanese companies.
