The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) has signed a loan agreement with Toyota Leasing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (TLT), a Thai corporation in which Toyota Financial Services Corporation and others invest. This loan is intended to finance the automobile sales finance business that TLT is carrying out in Thailand. Thailand is the 10th largest car producer and the 17th largest car seller in the world in 2022. In the Thai automobile market, the usage rate of sales finance at the time of purchase is high, and automobile sales finance has become an important tool in the business strategy of each automobile manufacturer for promoting sales and expanding shares.
