Launched in 2014, this scheme focuses on addressing infrastructure development and technology needs in the Capital Goods Sector. It includes setting up new advanced Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and augmenting existing CoEs, as well as establishing Common Engineering Facility Centres (CEFCs). The scheme's Phase 2, notified in 2022, has a financial outlay of Rs. 1207 crores, with budgetary support of Rs.975 crore and industry contribution of Rs.232 crores.
