Programa BNDES Mais Inovação

The Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES) has approved financing of R$ 70 million for Althaia S.A. Pharmaceutical Industry to establish a new research center for drug development. The project was fully financed under the BNDES Mais Inovação Program, and will increase by five times the area dedicated to the pharmaceutical company's research and innovation activities. The project is part of the strategy for the development of the Economic-Industrial Health Complex of the New Brazilian Industry, which aims to strengthen the national pharmaceutical and inputs industry.
